Allianz Kazakhstan has paid more than 4 million tenge on cargo insurance agreement
24.08.2010The Insured (Oil Company) made an agreement with logistics company which transported electrical distribution boards from India to Istanbul, Turkey. Then enroute to Kashagan project site, Kazakhstan. On arrival at destination point in Kazakhstan, surveyors have conducted a discharge survey. As a result of inspection the boxes and boxes packing were found wet. Insured compensation was paid in the amount of 212 528 tenge.
And also two insurance events connected with the same oil company were occurred during transit air cooled exchangers from Korea to Mariupol seaport in Ukraine. From Mariupol, they were transported via rail wagons to Eskene West, Kazakhstan. On arrival at destination point in Kazakhstan, surveyors have conducted a discharge survey. As a result of survey were found major damages of the equipment. Some damage may have been inflicted by the fork lift trucks used to load the units into the rail wagons. “IC “Allianz Kazakhstan” JSC has paid insurance compensation for oil company in the amount of 4 001 772 tenge.
