About Allianz Kazakhstan
The joint-stock company "Insurance Company ATF Polis" was formed on 22 December 1999, and in 2004 it was re-registered from CJSC to JSC pursuant to the RK Law "On joint-stock companies". The company’s founder was one of the largest second-tier Kazakh banks, JSC "ATF Bank".Since 01 April 2003, the insurance company has been a full member of the Corporate Association of Kazakh Financial Institutions". Since November 2003, the Company has been an active member of the Insurance Compensation Guarantee Fund.
In late September 2007, 100% stock interest in the company was acquired by the international insurer Allianz Group, and in April 2008 the company was registered with the supervision authorities as a subsidiary of the European joint-stock company Allianz S.E., under the name "Insurance Company Allianz Kazakhstan".
The company possesses an extensive branch network covering regional all regional centres of Kazakhstan and cities Almaty and Astana
Allianz is a universal company possessing licenses for virtually every type of insurance.
Following the results of 2009, Allianz Kazakhstan is in the Top-5 insurers.
